NOTE: If you are pregnant you should NOT participate in any Mojo Moves classes unless you have consulted your midwife or Doctor. For some women, certain conditions can make it unadvisable to exercise during pregnancy. If you choose to attend Mojo Moves whilst pregnant, you must be mindful to avoid any bending or ‘crunches’ in the abdominal area. During the third trimester, you typically want to avoid activities that require:
-
jumping
-
hopping
-
skipping
-
bouncing
However, clapping, swaying and disco dancing are all encouraged before, during and after birth.
Following a natural birth you may attend after 12 weeks. Following a caesarian birth, a doctor’s certificate is required before attending.
