Rare Species CIC has its own silent disco kit available for hire, including wireless headphones and transmitters.
We offer reduced rates for charities, CICs, schools, community groups and not-for-profit organisations using the kit for public benefit.This is ideal if you already have your own DJ, facilitator, playlist, teacher, youth worker, event team or enthusiastic person with a clipboard, but need the equipment to make it happen.
You can use the kit for community discos, fundraisers, school events, family days, youth groups, SEND sessions, care home activities, walking discos, outdoor events, fitness sessions, quiet discos in noise-sensitive spaces or parties with a community purpose.
We are based in Frome, Somerset and usually work within around a 30-mile radius. Collection may be possible by arrangement, and delivery can be discussed depending on location and availability.

How many headsets can we hire?We can supply up to 150 silent disco headsets. Smaller or larger groups can be arranged – just ask.
What’s included in the hire?Headsets, transmitters and guidance on setup. We can also provide a host to run the disco.
Do you deliver outside Somerset?No we currently only cover Frome & surrounds.
How long can we keep the equipment?
Standard hire is 24 hours, but longer hires can be arranged.
Is setup complicated?
Not at all. We’ll show you how, or we can run the event for you.
