Silent Disco Tours & Events

Our silent disco tours are part comedy guided tour, part dancefloor, part local folklore, part pop video. We coined the term "Whistorical" as the stories are based on historic fact but blended with stream of consciousness writing with hilarious outcomes.

Using wireless headphones, we take people on music-led adventures through streets, parks, heritage sites, festivals, parties and unexpected public spaces.

The headphones mean we can create a big shared experience without blasting sound across the whole area.

People can dance, walk, sing, laugh, listen, watch or join in as much as they like.

Our tours can be saucy, silly, family-friendly, historical, seasonal, festive or completely unhinged in the best possible way and we consider it our duty to give people permission to be silly, expressive and gloriously unselfconscious in public.

Flash Mobs & Community Choreography

We create flash mobs, public dance moments and community choreography for real people — not just trained performers.

We can choreograph routines, teach groups, lead rehearsals, create video tutorials and get a crowd moving without making anyone feel exposed or ridiculous. Unless ridiculous is the point. In which case, we are fully qualified.

This works beautifully for town events, festivals, schools, charity campaigns, weddings, workplace events, launches, finales and community celebrations.

It can be slick, silly, moving, fabulous — or all of the above.

Karenoke™

We do not do polite, beige singalongs.

We do Karenoke™ - our karaoke night led by an actual Karen.

Expect power ballads, unnecessary announcements, emotional overreach, strict-but-fair mic management and the occasional demand to speak to the manager.

Karenoke™ can be a full night, a party feature, a fundraiser, a festival slot, a workplace social or a chaotic add-on to a bigger celebration.

Nobody has to sing well.
Volume, commitment and facial expression count.

Bespoke Characters & MC Hosting

We create bespoke characters for events, launches, festivals, parties, community projects and theatrical happenings.

Need a host who can hold a room, warm up a crowd, keep things moving and make the audience feel part of it? We can do that.

Need a ridiculous local “expert”, a glamorous wellness guru, a no-nonsense karaoke host, an eccentric Lady of the Manor or someone to bring theatrical mischief to your event? Also yes.

Ginny has over 30 years’ experience as a skilled improvisor, live performer, facilitator and host, creating characters that can be funny, warm, sharp, surreal, interactive, family-friendly, saucy or completely bespoke to the occasion.

This is especially useful when someone needs to take the mic, keep the energy up and stop things drifting into awkward silence.

Schools, Children & Family Participation

We create active, funny, confidence-building sessions for children and families through schools, family days, holiday activities, festivals and community events.

This might include simple choreography, character-led games, silent disco, dressing up, group movement, dance routines or big shared moments where children and adults get to be silly together.

We can work directly with schools or partner with organisations such as Purple Elephant Frome at family days and community events.

Sessions are energetic, accessible, age-appropriate and easy to join in.

Creative Wellbeing & Inclusive Movement

Mojo Moves started as a comedy aerobics class, but it has grown into a wider way of getting people moving, laughing and feeling more confident in their bodies.

We deliver movement, music and comedy-led wellbeing sessions for people who may not feel at home in traditional fitness spaces.

Sessions can be standing, seated or a mixture of both, and can be adapted for different groups, bodies and energy levels.

We regularly work with adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with long-term health conditions, older adults and community groups.

This is not conventional wellness.

No mirrors. No judgement. No Lycra pressure.

Just music, movement and laughter.

Recent Projects

Frome Connects

In May 2026, Ginny worked on Frome Connects, a town-wide community initiative created by Jenny Hartnoll of We Are Connectors CIC.

As part of the project, Ginny helped deliver free public activities including Dress Up Fridays, a silent disco outside Frome Library, community singalong moments and the Kate Bush flash mob on Catherine Hill.

The project gave people simple, funny ways to show up, join in, dress up, dance, sing, laugh and connect without having to be “good” at anything.

That is very much our territory.

Kate Bush Flash Mob

The Kate Bush flash mob took place on Catherine Hill in Frome on Saturday 30 May 2026 as part of the finale of Frome Connects.

A large crowd gathered for a joyful public celebration inspired by Running Up That Hill. The event was opened by exuberant town crier Martin Scott and captured by drone by Paul Durber.

The flash mob exceeded expectations and caught the imagination of the town.

It was daft.
It was moving.
It was memorable.
It was a hill full of people connecting.

Exactly the sort of thing we love.

Why It Works

People join in when they feel safe enough to be silly

Our work is funny, but it is not flimsy.

Humour lowers the pressure.
Music gets people moving.
Character gives people permission.
Choreography gives shape to the chaos.
A good host keeps the whole thing alive.
Participation turns an audience into a room full of people doing something together.

That is where the magic happens.

A person who would never join a formal dance class might throw themselves into a silent disco tour.
A nervous wedding guest might end up in a flash mob.
A child might pull their grown-up into the middle of a family day.
A community group might discover they are much more fabulous than they thought.

We are interested in the moment where someone thinks:

“I didn’t know I could do that.”

Then does it anyway.
